Heavy and light loads
WARNING
Depressing the brake pedal constantly results
in excessive and premature wear to the brake
pads.
It may also cause the brakes to overheat,
seriously impairing their effectiveness. It may
then not be possible to stop the vehicle in
sufficient time to avoid an accident.
If the brakes have been subjected to a heavy load, do not stop the vehicle immediately, but drive on for a short while. This allows the airflow to cool the brakes more quickly.

Engine emergency off
If the engine cannot be switched off as
described, observe the following procedure:
Take the fuse allocation chart out of the
vehicle document wallet.
Search for “Emergency engine shutdown”

Tire pressure of 180 kPa (1.8 bar/
26 psi) is reached
•► Press the on/off switch on the tire inflation
compressor to 0.
The tire inflation compressor is switched
off.
•► Unscrew the filler hose from the valve of
the faulty tire.
