Switching the daytime running lamps on/off

This function is not available in Canada.

If you have activated the Daytime Running Lights: function and the light switch is in the position, the daytime running or lamps are switched on automatically during position, the daytime running lamps are switched on automatically during the day when the engine is running.

In the dark, the following also light up:
- the low-beam headlamps
- the parking lamps
- the tail lamps
- the license plate lamp
- the side marker lamps

– Press the button on the or steering wheel to select the Sett. menu. button on the steering wheel to select the Sett. menu.
– Press the button to select the or Lights submenu. button to select the Lights submenu.
– Press the – Press the  or button to confirm.
– Press the button to select the or Daytime Running Lights: function. button to select the Daytime Running Lights: function.
You will see the selected setting: Enabled or Disabled.
– Press the setting. button to save the setting.

Switching Adaptive Highbeam Assist on/off

– Press the button on the or steering wheel to select the Sett. menu. button on the steering wheel to select the Sett. menu.
– Press the button to select the or Lights submenu. button to select the Lights submenu.
– Press the – Press  or button to confirm.
– Press to select the or Adaptive Highbeam Assist: function. to select the Adaptive Highbeam Assist: function.
You will see the selected setting: Enabled or Disabled.
– Press the setting. button to save the setting.

Setting the brightness of the ambient lighting

– Press the button on the or steering wheel to select the Settings button on the steering wheel to select the Settings menu.

– Press the button to select the or Lights submenu. button to select the Lights submenu.

– Press the button to select or Ambient light. button to select Ambient light.

You will see the selected setting.

– Press the – Press the  or button to confirm.

– Press the button to adjust the or brightness to any level from Off to Level button to adjust the brightness to any level from Off to Level 5 (bright).

– Press the button to save the or setting. button to save the setting.

Setting the ambient lighting color

– Press the button on the or steering wheel to select the Settings button on the steering wheel to select the Settings menu.

– Press the button to select the or Light submenu. button to select the Light submenu.

– Press the – Press the  or button to confirm.

– Press the button to select the or Ambient light color function. button to select the Ambient light color function.

– Press the – Press the  or button to confirm.

– Press the button to set the or color to SOLAR, NEUTRAL or POLAR. button to set the color to SOLAR, NEUTRAL or POLAR.

– Press the button to save the or setting. button to save the setting.

Activating/deactivating surround lighting and exterior lighting delayed switch-off

If you have activated the Lighting: function and the light switch is in the or position, the following functions are active position, the following functions are active when it is dark:
RSurround lighting: the exterior lighting remains lit for 40 seconds after unlocking with the key. If you start the engine, the surround lighting is switched off and the automatic headlamp mode is activated.
RExterior lighting delayed switch-off: the exterior lighting remains lit for 60 seconds after the engine has been switched off. If you close all the doors, the exterior lighting goes off after 15 seconds.

If you activate the Lighting: function, the following light up depending on the vehicle's equipment:
- the parking lamps
- the daytime running lamps
- the side marker lamps
- the surround lighting in the exterior mirrors

– Press the button on the or steering wheel to select the Sett. menu. button on the steering wheel to select the Sett. menu.
– Press the button to select the or Lights submenu. button to select the Lights submenu.
– Press the – Press the  or button to confirm.
– Press the button to select the or Locator Lighting: function. button to select the Locator Lighting: function.
You will see the selected setting: Enabled or Disabled.
– Press the setting. button to save the setting.
Deactivating delayed switch-off of the exterior lighting temporarily:
– Before leaving the vehicle, turn the SmartKey to position 0 in the ignition lock.
– Turn the SmartKey to position 2 in the ignition lock and back to position 0.
The exterior lighting delayed switch-off is deactivated.

Delayed switch-off of the exterior lighting is reactivated the next time you start the engine.

Activating/deactivating the interior lighting delayed switch-off

If you activate the Interior Lighting Delay function, the interior lighting remains on for 20 seconds after you remove the SmartKey from the ignition lock.

– Press the button on the or steering wheel to select the Settings button on the steering wheel to select the Settings menu.

– Press the button to select the or Lights submenu. button to select the Lights submenu.

– Press the – Press the  or button to confirm.

– Press the button to select the or Interior Lighting Delay: function. button to select the Interior Lighting Delay: function.

You will see the selected setting: Enabled or Disabled.

– Press the setting. button to save the setting.
