Vehicles with automatic transmission

Shift the transmission to position Apply the parking brake firmly.

P. Shift the transmission to position P.

Using the SmartKey

in the ignition lock and remove it. Turn the SmartKey to position 0 in the ignition lock and remove it.
The immobilizer is activated.

If you attempt to switch off the engine while the selector lever is in a position other than P, a message appears in the multifunction display and you hear a tone.
