Activation conditions

You can activate the HOLD function if:
• the vehicle is stationary.
• the driver's door is closed or your seat belt is fastened.
• the electric parking brake is released.
• the hood is closed.
• the transmission is in position R, N or D.
The trunk lid must be closed in position R.
• DISTRONIC PLUS is deactivated.
